AI transparency
Mildport is deterministic by default. Optional AI assist can help operators map columns and extract structured fields from documents, but it does not import data automatically.
This page is the public RFP and security-review summary. It intentionally describes the controls buyers need to understand, without exposing implementation details, prompts, or operational internals.
At a glance
Section titled “At a glance”| Area | Mildport posture |
|---|---|
| Default mode | Rules-only matching, with no AI calls. |
| What AI assists | Column mapping and document field extraction. |
| Human oversight | Required before anything is applied to the host system. |
| Model choice | Customer-controlled endpoint in supported deployments. |
| Data exposure | Limited task context only; no full dataset is sent for mapping. |
| Intended use | Business data import, not automated HR, credit, benefits, law enforcement, or biometric decisions. |
What AI can and cannot do
Section titled “What AI can and cannot do”AI assist is advisory. It may propose or re-rank import suggestions, but the operator reviews the result before apply.
Mildport is not designed to:
- make decisions about natural persons;
- profile people;
- screen job applicants;
- score creditworthiness or insurance risk;
- determine eligibility for public benefits;
- perform biometric identification or emotion recognition.
If you plan to use Mildport in a regulated high-risk workflow, run a separate legal review before enabling AI assist.
Human review
Section titled “Human review”Every AI-assisted import remains review-first:
- operators see that AI assist is active;
- AI-supported suggestions are distinguishable in the workflow;
- document extractions require confirmation;
- apply sends only data the operator approved.
This is the core deployment requirement: AI speeds up preparation, but your team remains in control of the import.
Data and model control
Section titled “Data and model control”For self-hosted and enterprise deployments, customers can configure their own model endpoint. That means the LLM vendor, region, data-processing agreement, and retention posture stay under the customer’s control.
Mildport limits model input to the context needed for the task. For mapping, that means target field metadata, headers, candidate suggestions, and a small redacted sample where required. It does not send the full source file simply to map columns.
EU AI Act posture
Section titled “EU AI Act posture”Mildport’s intended purpose is business data import. Based on that intended purpose, our current assessment is that optional AI assist is not an Annex III high-risk system under Regulation (EU) 2024/1689.
That assessment depends on use. A customer deploying Mildport inside a high-risk process - for example recruitment selection, credit scoring, public-benefit eligibility, law enforcement, or profiling - may take on additional deployer obligations.
Capitality maintains a fuller EU AI Act classification assessment for enterprise diligence and legal review. It is available on request.
Customer responsibilities
Section titled “Customer responsibilities”When you enable AI assist, you should:
- assign trained staff to review imports;
- choose a model endpoint that fits your legal and security requirements;
- document your own deployment purpose;
- complete GDPR checks where personal data is imported;
- avoid using Mildport as the sole decision-maker in high-risk domains.
For self-hosted deployments, start with Self-hosting overview. For integration details, see How it works.
